The performance reflects the paradox of modern society, where technological progress allows us to participate in events from afar, but at the same time deprives us of the authenticity of the moment. A person on the other side of the screen is unable to enjoy food, take part in conversations and the celebration itself. Thus, the integrity of the perception of the holiday is lost. After all, as Jacques Derrida said: “The moment of celebration is a moment of pure continuity.” The virtual world disrupts this continuity.
